Hydrogen Storage
Most of the industrial gases are sold in cylinders or gas bottles. These are high-pressure vessels also referred to as canisters, vessels, tanks, and pressurised containers. In most cases, the cylinders are made of steel or aluminium, though other highly specialised tanks also exist. Gas bottles come in different sizes, pressures, volume, weight, and can hold gas or liquid gas. Their main task is to transport, distribute or store gas.
The gas industry is heavily regulated. Based on the type of gas, the pressure rating and conditions of use, there is a need to periodically test/re-test the pressure rating of a cylinder. Every country is different and therefore there are different legislations for Europe, USA, China, India, Australia, etc.
Most of the time the gas content of a cylinder can be identified by a label on the canister. Hazard properties are also attached to the cylinder, either in a painted form or with the label at the top end of the cylinder. For instance, in Europe, the Standard is known as EN 1089-3.
Humble Hydrogen (HH) is one of the few companies in the world to provide a complete range of storage solutions for stationary and transport application. HH aim is to offer a versatile set of storage solutions that will increase your productivity and ensure the highest safety.
HH can offer 200 bar, 300 bar, and up to 1000 bar storage solutions. HH has devised a unique storage solution by developing a multi-Cylinder pack (MCP) also called a bundle. In this solution, several gas cylinders are interconnected together via gas pipes. Usually, there are several types of MPCs. This includes 6, 12, 16, 24, 48, etc. interconnected cylinders. A frame holds all the cylinders together for ease of transportation.
